NYC police investigate after Russian consulate vandalized



New York Metropolis police are investigating a doable bias incident after crimson paint was sprayed on the Russian Consulate.

Police obtained a 911 name round 1:30 a.m. Friday on the Higher East Facet constructing and located that the facade of the consulate had been vandalized with crimson paint, based on police. There have been no apparent phrases or symbols painted on the constructing.

As of Saturday, no arrests have been made, and the investigation stays ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson mentioned.
